In order to educate revolutionary ideals, continue the fine tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source” of the nation for youth union members, as well as apply information technology in the era of technology 4.0, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025), the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Duy Trinh commune has deployed the construction of a digital map of historical sites associated with youth at the address bandoso.tuoitreduytrinh.org.vn.

The digital map includes sites in Duy Trinh commune. Each historical site is shown in the form of a panoramic image, creating a vivid and novel feeling for viewers, making the images at the sites become realistic and close, as if they were directly visiting that site. Information about the site is shown in the form of text as well as explanatory videos, serving the maximum needs of all access subjects.

For the above locations, youth union members will have closer access to images and events marking a heroic period of building and defending the country by the previous generation, feeling more clearly the indomitability, resilience, along with the hardships and heroic sacrifices of the predecessors, thereby contributing to educating the young generation about love for the homeland, respect for the heroic past and love for peace in the present.

Building a digital map provides youth union members with a search tool to help them learn more specifically about the origin and historical significance of the locations, bringing the locations closer to the people and becoming reliable red addresses, creating a more frequent destination for young people in branch meetings, occasions of admitting new members of the union, party members and on major national holidays.

Along with that, building a digital map aims to raise the sense of responsibility of young people in preserving and protecting historical locations; and hope to receive more attention, support for upgrading and conservation from domestic and foreign agencies, units and organizations.
